Beauty Bay haul

Ok, so I don’t actually know if you can really class three things as a haul, but you know, for the sake of this post we are going along with it.

The first thing is something that everyone and their dog has been talking about and already owns, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette. I’ll be honest, I had no interest in this palette at all when it first came out. I find that if there is a new product that is hyped then I tend to ignore it. 10/10 for logic Steph. Recently though I have been obsessed with pink and berry shadows and after realising that it was a palette full of warm shades, I was sold. After months of wanting to buy it, I finally decided to treat myself to it and I haven’t looked back since. I am in love. It’s so versatile due to the variety of shades and I am that in love with it that I would save it from a burning building. *insert all the heart eye emojis here. *

I treated myself to another eyeshadow palette for the same reason; it is full of warm shades. I decided to buy the Zoeva Caramel Melange palette because I read a blog post saying that it had similar shades to the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette but obviously at a much more affordable price. (Let’s be honest though, I’m probably still gonna buy the Naked Heat palette.) I’ve heard a lot of good things about Zoeva eyeshadows so I’m excited to give them a try.

The final thing I purchased was the LA Girl strobing powder in the shade 120 watts. I first heard about this product in one of DramaticMac’s recent videos. After seeing the low price, I wanted to read some reviews to make sure it was still good quality and my god, I’m so glad I did. I only placed a light sweep but it gave me such a natural glow that people have been asking if I’m having another baby. (Spoiler: I’m not).  It can also be built up to a blinding highlight which is the dream really isn’t it.

Because I spent over £50, I got a goody bag containing a few samples of products. These included a Laura Geller illuminator, a Beauty Blender cleaner, an ABH eyebrow gel and a few skincare products. I probably won’t be trying the skincare products, just because my skin is so sensitive at the moment but I’m excited to try try the other products out.

Have you bought any new make up recently? Let me know so I can waste more money that I should be saving on makeup.
