Eyeshadow palettes for winter

Hi, I’m Steph and I have a slight addiction to buying eyeshadow palettes. If I’m not buying them, I am reading about them, looking up swatches and lusting after new ones. So I’m going to start blogmas off by talking about a few of my favourites at the moment.

A palette I have been reaching for a lot recently is the Zoeva Caramel Melange palette, mainly for its versatility. One day I can have a rusty orange look which goes perfectly with my autumn outfits or I can do a halo eye with a gold shimmer to add a festive touch to a make up look. The shades blend so easily and there is barely any fallout so it’s a winner in my eyes.

On days where I don’t have much time to get ready, I use Rimmel’s Glam Eyes Quad Eyeshadow in Sun Safari. With this quad, I don’t have to think about what shade to put it in my crease or on my lid and it creates a subtle smoky eye that works well for everyday use.

A palette that I using a lot through autumn is the MUA Fire Vixen palette. I love a warm toned shades and this palette is full of them. There are also a couple of shimmer shades as well, which makes it a perfect transitional palette between autumn and the festive season.

The final palette is normally one that I would only reach for during the summer but I have really enjoyed using it to create a shimmery bronze look, because if you can’t be covered in glitter during the whole of December then what’s the point. The I Heart Makeup Chocolate and Peaches palette is one that I’m definitely going to be getting out throughout December as well as the summer months.

What palettes have you been loving recently?
